Entering a new world
The name of the infection I had is called herpes zoster aka shingles. Yeah I have done some research on it. It is recovering fast now after medication.
What's new? Skateboarding! I am gonna try out something new in my life. A sport I had never done before. All the while in my life, I have never really played any sport, so hopefully I will enjoy this one. I got interested in skating ever since I got to know this shop called altrex which sells skateboards during march this year. It is at shaw towers, the same place as magic castle. Tony, the shop owner showed me some videos on skating and this is how I became interested in it. There are many skaters who visit the shop frequently and they give me the impression that skating is indeed very fun. There is another dude called eric who is tony's friend. He has been skating for fifteen years and encouraged me to take it up.
I thought to myself, since I have an opportunity to do something which not many people are doing, why not just do it? I am someone who is very adventurous, I like to explore many things. Well...unfortunately, I do not have so much money to do so many things. I do not want to just lead a normal life like everyone. I want to be special. Yes, I have decided, I will buy a skateboard for myself. Seriously, skating seems cool. I feel that it can bring out my personality as it is an individual sport. It all depends on yourself. Unlike basketball, even if you are lousy, you still can rely on your team mates.
Now, I just hope I can get my allowance and have enough cash to buy a skateboard and a pair of skating shoes. I need about $250. Man! That's quite a lot. There are the deck, wheels. bearings, truck and bolts. If I can do magic as well as skating, whoa I will feel like a damn pro. I am looking forward to the day when I can fly up the ramp with my skateboard. Hahaha! There will be more skating updates soon.
