A day of chill
Yesterday, I followed Shaun to funan IT mall early in the morning to queue up for Spore, the latest game which is released in singapore. Obviously, the game is not for me to play. I was just helping Joseph to collect his as he had church service. It was hilarious as we thought we would be the first to arrived but only to found out there was already a line of people there. We reached at around 9.30am and settled there till 12pm. We received a goody bag together with the game and a t-shirt in it. I bet Shaun and Joseph are utterly ecstatic about the new game that they are going to embark on. We happened to bump into Joshua, one of our primary school classmates. He was there to collect the game as well. We chatted for awhile while he was queueing up.
We roamed around funan IT mall as we were waiting for Joseph to come. After he called, we headed down to raffles city to meet him. We had a hard time deciding what to eat for lunch and they proposed J.CO. It is a doughnut cafe. We ordered one dozen of doughnuts for $11.50 and I got a drink. The doughnuts were indeed fabulous. Joseph had chocolate dripping all over his jeans lol. Shaun told us he was going to ang mo kio all of a sudden and he went separate ways at city hall station. Joseph said he needed to buy a ram, an IT equipment. I have never heard of it as I am unfamiliar with IT. We went to funan IT mall, back there for me. We went to challenger but it was sold out there. Thus, we had to go and get it at another shop. After that, we got out of funan IT mall. I thought of going to esplanade and we went there through citylink mall. We chilled around esplanade then went to Singapre river at the merlion area. We sat down at the steps there and chatted about everything which took place for 17 years since 1991.
I happened to ask him a math question which miraculously came out for the paper today. Lol! We went back to city hall station after some time there. We took the mrt to marina bay so we could get seats as it was too packed. I can only say it was a pleasant day. Forgive me but as I was telling Joseph, I find that I could easily be myself with the friends which I know since childhood. Well, perhaps I am just trying to suit myself for different people.
The ss and maths paper 1 papers are over. I did it following the direction of the wind. Hopefully, they turned out alright. Tomorrow is maths paper 2. I promise myself I will do well for it no matter what. Maths has always been my forte. Unfortunately due to certain circumstances, my standard has dropped. Anyway, I had caught up during these few weeks of practice. I will share the good news after the exams. The next event taking place will be a mooncake festival gathering organised by Shaun. I will be looking forward to it.
