Red Camp
The red camp at ngee ann polytechnic is over. It was indeed very interesting. All three days were very fun. It was really something I have never experienced in my life before. I am in the ninja tribe which was very cool. There were many active people in there.
We went to visit the different schools. The students explained to us about the courses and showed us some of the things that are taught. At the school of engineering, we had to design a roller coaster shit. There is absolutely no way I can study engineering. We also had his cca experience. We got to try out archery and that was the first time I ever tried archery. It was great when I learnt how to hold the bow and shoot the arrow. On the final day, we visited the school of film and media studies which I was looking forward to. We had this advertising competition and me and Pin hao together with a group of guys won it and got a fifa game and hellgate london action figure. Of course we won as the rest were all girls. Next we went to the tv studio and I volunteered to try out as a newscaster and read the scripts. Alright this is very interesting, I just found out that the newscaster is actually looking at a video showing the scripts and it appears as though the person is looking into the camera telling the news. At first, I thought they had to go with the flow as a newscaster. Ben, you know this one huh?
By the way, I had decided to put np's mass communication as my first choice. I am sure I can do well in it as I know myself best. It would be nice to get into np. There were lots of cheers during the event and although I don't like to cheer, I just tried to cheer along as it all sounded cool. There was also free food provided and it was all palatable. I met this very nice guy from queensway sec there and I did not realise he is a malay until I got his name right. In fact, everyone there was very friendly. It was a great 3 days and I really did enjoy myself there.
