Catching up, new dudes and a lil magic
I met up with Wallace on last Friday and Saturday. After so many donkey years, we finally see each other again and caught up. He invited me to his cell. Obviously, they are short of people. So he asked me along. On Friday, we took the mrt and bus respectively to parkway parade. And the funny thing is when we reached parkway parade, he thought he got the wrong place and it should be marine parade. But later he found out that we are at the right place. Wallace is suppose to go there to meet his cell mates and buy some stuffs, and I just tagged along. After that, he brought me to the house. I mingled with those members and it was like a very different environment. After the thing ended, Wallace gave me a ride home in his dad's car. There were others who live in Bishan as well like me. Wallace's sister is also part of the cell. She is in the same school as me.
On saturday, I met up with wallace again. At night, everyone went to Changi airport for dinner at mcdonalds. I chatted with this dude called Bryan, one of them. He asked me what I wana study after secondary school and I told him audio engineering. He said it is something wich is not worth studying. He seems to know quite a lot about the music field and many other things. It was great talking to him. We took the mrt back home that night. Wallace kept perstering me to show him magic. I did not expect him to be so eager about seeing my magic haha. I showed him simple stuffs and he just freaked. I did the balducci levitation at tanah merah station and he went crazy. I showed him stigmata and CMH too. He was floored. I did not realise that such simple impromtu magic can really hit someone that hard. Well so it all about presentation. A great magician is someone who can entertain even with a very simple thing.
Yesterday, I went for dinner with Wallace's friends. We ate at a restaurant opposite Shaw Towers. The place where my magic and skate shop is. That was cool. Next time I can eat there if I want. It was an Indonesian restaurant. I went home together with Samuel as he stayed in Bishan too.
