I just got my N levels results today. Great? Or splendid? Perhaps perfect? Or should I say brilliant? Actually I think this is phenomenal. I knew it would not be of any problem. Obviously I am the best. Of course I won everyone else. Look at those bastards and sluts, how can they ever do well in life? Anyway this should be a happy post.
I got five As. Although my results are fantastic, I am still a little shocked. Both a good and bad way. I shall say what I am unsatisfied with first. Maths, one of my best subjects. I expected an A1. But I got an A2 unexpectedly. I guess I have made too many careless mistakes. Anyway, what's done is already done. No sweat man, like what my friend said before I got my results. I was quite stressed during that period, so could not really focused. It's fantastic and pleasing though, being able to get an A.
As for being shocked in a good way, I got an A1 for English. Benjamin, the person who told me to start this blog, I suppose you are congratulating me huh? A friend who is specialised in English. I mean this is like surreal. Can I use that word? All these years of my seconday life, I have always barely passed English. I rarely got any distinctions before. And now for the N levels, I got an A. And it's an A1! This is indeed amazing. I guess I must have written a nice essay. I could also understand the comprehensions quite clearly. It was not very complicated at all. An A1 for the most important subject. Well...what else can I say?
As for the other subjects, it is like what I predicted. All my hard work has been paid off. Only maths and english are the exceptions. I did not expect an A1 for English and I expected and A1 for Maths. An irony huh? As for chinese, a B3. I ain't sure what went wrong but it would be better if it is an A too. Then all the subjects will be As haha. Pertaining to this, this is what I realised. The subject that you are most confident with is the one which you will not do as well as you thought. And the one which you think you will not do that well is the one which you do well. So the bottom line is never be too confident, just stay neutral when it comes to exams.
My name was announced even before the results were given out. Seriously, I never thought I could achieve something like that before. Now I know, you just gotta believe in yourself. Why bother about what Tom, Dick, Harry, Mary or Jane thinks about you. Ultimately, the rewards of your hard work and effort goes to you and no one else. The whole entire school can hate my guts, I am not gonna care anymore. Now I only can do what's best for me. I am happy for myself.
The first two people who told me their results are Jarret and Gordon. They did not do as well as me, but I believe they had done their best and are proud of themselves. And Yang Jun, my loyal cat high friend, whatever the results are, you have done your best. Just work a little harder and you can do it man. I am waiting to celebrate with you brother. Haha Wallace just called as I am blogging. He got one A. Not bad! I would like to end off this post by thanking all of you guys. Thanks for all your support all this years. Without you guys, I may not be where I am today. We may not see each other often, but I will never forget all of you. And for those friends I did not mention, sorry and thank you too. I guess I am not that unfortunate after all.
