Orchard Shopping

Yesterday, I went out to orchard road the whole day with Pin Hao. We watched The day the earth stood still. I thought it was a splendid movie. The thing about the movie is not about the special effects, but the logic and theory behind it rather. It is really a movie that gets something across to us. It suits adults better, perhaps more matured people. I did enjoy the movie. We went to cathay cineleisure as usual and watched a late night movie.

We also went to heeren hmv to buy our music cds. I bought Kanye West's new album, 808s & Heartbreak, Ludacris's Theatre of the mind and Justin Timberlake's futuresex/lovesounds. Kanye West's album is more of pop than hip hop. There is hardly any rap. I think his music is great as he is bringing music to another level. I feel he is the best rapper out there and he is impeccable. Ludacris can rap pretty well too and Justin Timberlake is a great Pop/R&B singer. I didn't really notice his music untill now.

We had Sakae Sushi for dinner. At first, we thought we could get the buffet which is cheaper. Later on, the manager said that it is available only before 5.30pm and had to cancel it. Anyway, we had a great meal. I had curry udon and Pin Hao had a set of sushi. It was our celebration for the end of O levels. Haha.

I will be working next week at a warehouse. I feel quite glad about it as I can earn some bucks.
